Becoming an employer for the first time can involve a confusing array of state and federal laws and requirements. In this intro to hiring webinar Maine SBDC Business Advisor Tina Oddleifson look at what you need to do to set yourself up as an employer for the first time and what you need to know about labor laws, payroll taxes, and hiring paperwork. Following the webinar, participants will be sent a comprehensive checklist to help them on their way to hiring their first employee!
