Basics of Starting a Business in Maine

Thinking of starting a business? Have a business idea and wondering if it’s worth it to take the next step? This session will give you an overview of the skills, and the tools you need when deciding to start a business. You’ll learn about the advantages and disadvantages of owning a business and the fundamentals of formation, organization, marketing, financials and financing. This session is a perfect primer for the remainder of the courses in this series and for potential or recently started businesses. Free light meal provided with registration by 9/16/2016.
