Are you a small food producer wanting to get your products to market or do you currently have a licensed kitchen and not sure how the new Food Sovereignty law affects your business. Join SBDC advisor Chris Cole as she discusses what food sovereignty means and who can operate under the law. As well as when and why you need a Food and Fuel license to produce and sell your products.

Plus meet the inspectors of the Department of Agriculture, Conservation & Forestry. Ben Metcalf, Inspection Program Manager along with other inspectors will be on hand to answer any questions you have about regulations, requirements, and licensing.

Funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. SBA. Reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities will be made if requested at least two weeks in advance. Contact mainesbdc@maine.edu
