What is the difference between an employee and an independent contractor? In this upcoming webinar, Maine SBDC at the University of Southern Maine Center Director and Business Advisor Peter Harriman will discuss some of the most common issues when hiring contractors and go over some of the forms and paperwork that you will need in place when hiring a contractor.

You’ll leave with a better understanding of:

  • When is a worker a contractor versus an employee?
  • What forms does the contractor need to complete?
  • What is my responsibility as an employer?
